If you’ve never experienced Spiritual Direction before then you might like to find out more about what to expect. We recommend the excellent Retreat Association website, where you can find a number of helpful leaflets, including one specifically about choosing a Spiritual Director.

Rob has been in ordained Christian ministry for nearly thirty years (fifteen years as an Elder in the United Reformed Church and fifteen years as a Minister in the United Reformed Church), in addition he has a wealth of experience in engineering, education, the charitable sector and business. He enjoys accompanying people in their spiritual journey and will support anyone of any faith and those of no faith. Wherever you are on your journey, you are welcome!

Rob enjoys a number of outdoor pursuits including hiking, cycling (on road bike and mountain bikes) and dinghy sailing - so if you’d like to combine spiritual direction with one of these activities then Spiritual Direction Plus is for you! From our Retreat Centre you have access to some great walks and cycle rides, dinghy sailing is available at Roadford Reservoir just a few miles away. You are welcome to bring your own bike, but we do have some available for hire, just ask.

a) Spiritual direction per hour £22

b) Plus hiking add £5

c) Plus cycle ride add £5

d) Plus dinghy sailing add £30
