camping retreats

A Christian retreat with a difference and an opportunity to get close to nature as you develop your spiritual journey. Whether you are looking for a couple of nights, a week or longer - we can now accommodate you in style, on our camp site. Our camp site has the usual facilities (drinking water, waste disposal point, recycle and bin area) and shared access to a flush toilet and our new shower facility. While you are on retreat you are welcome to use all eight acres of our garden and grounds for reflection. You can sit by the river and watch for the trout or catch a glimpse of the kingfisher flying by. You can sit in the flowering meadow and watch the butterflies and dragonflies.

You will be bringing your own motorhome, caravan, trailer tent or tent - so you know what you need to bring. You can use the time as you wish, you may need time for some reading, writing, prayer or painting. You may like to book time for one-to-one spiritual direction with Rob, which can be booked in advance of, or during, your retreat**.

To check availability and costs*, simply email or phone us to discuss your Retreat requirements. Each Retreat will be tailored to your individual needs prior to your arrival, various options are available:

i) you might like to start and/or finish each day with prayer/reflection with Rob or Suzy

ii) you might like to be undisturbed and completely self-directed

iii) you might like to arrange one-to-one spiritual direction sessions with Rob - these can be held indoors or outdoors

* Please note that we have a Bursary Fund to support anyone who cannot afford to pay the full price, please ask for details at time of booking (open to anyone).

** Please note that our camp site is open to holiday makers and we don’t recommend booking if you are looking for a completely silent retreat in August.
